Why?

The Easter story revealed in another heart language

The world celebrated Easter, but how do we know the story? Well, of course we know it because it was written down and then put in a book called the Bible. But that original compilation had to be translated into another language so that htis sotry would come alive in antoher culture... English, Spanish, Hutu, Chinese, French, Modern Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Swahili, and many more. Now with most of the major languages having a translation, work is still being done in the smaller languages. In Papua New Guinea, there are still almost 300 languages needing the Easter story translated into their heart language. No Bible, no Easter story, no link to the hope of Easter. Pray today that more language groups in PNG will hear the Easter story on this last weekend next year!
